Assam Tea Leaves are considered to be one of the best when it comes to prepare various tea recipes. Among Assam tea leaves, orthodox tea leaves are considered to be of higher quality, less bitter and contains subtle multi-layered notes of flavors than CTC tea leaves. However, the whole story is yet to come. As the name says, tea leaves used in the Assam orthodox tea product is usually picked by hand to get intact, whole leaves from the bush. However, this form of tea is not entirely processed by hand. Once collected, they go through numerous processes which may be done by hand or machine.
